Liu Mazi is a stone gambling vendor at the town market. He is described as thirty years old, slightly fat, dressed tidily but with cunning eyes. He sells rejected rough stones he bought cheaply. After noticing Xi Yang's interest, he tries to sell a stone for 200 Yuan, eventually dropping to 20 Yuan as Xi Yang walks away. He is deceptive and opportunistic, often cheating customers. He represents the shady side of stone gambling.
