Lu Zhishen, the Flower Monk, is a powerful and righteous Buddhist monk. He had killed the Town Guardian of the West and uprooted a willow tree. He arrives too late to save his sworn brother Lin Chong in Wild Boar Forest. After losing a duel to Wang Lun, he agrees to join Liangshan on the condition of avenging Lin Chong and protecting his family. He wields a Water-Ground Zen Staff.
