Mama Qian is a senior maid from Huaqing Palace, serving the Imperial Noble Consort. She is responsible for interrogating Qiaoru after the poisoning incident. She quickly concludes that Qiaoru is guilty because she was the only one who handled the cream on the way. She orders Qiaoru to be sent to the Department of Punishments for severe interrogation. She is decisive and protective of her mistress but misguided.
