The manor doctor is the physician called to examine Yun Chen immediately after his discovery in the manor. He originally declares that the child’s internal organs are shattered and his bones are broken beyond saving, saying he is powerless. However, after Huihui secretly administers her magic pill, the doctor reexamines the boy and is astonished to find all internal injuries healed. He calls it a miracle and declares the child is blessed by heaven. He then sets the broken bones. He plays a key role in highlighting the miraculous nature of Huihui’s medicine.
