Ye Zihuan is the false son of Xiao Qing, actually the biological child of Ye Huajie and Lin Yujiao. He is about seven years old, spoiled, and arrogant. He calls Lin Yujiao “Mother” and treats Xiao Qing with contempt, accusing her of being a “cheap woman.” He is rude to Huihui, calling her dirty and ugly. He is pampered and accustomed to luxury, opposing anyone who threatens his status. He is eventually captured and taken away with Lin Yujiao after the truth is revealed. He represents the usurper who enjoys the benefits of the deception.
