The betrothed of Lin Che from the Mohist School, also a talented Confucian student and one of twelve university graduates. She does not appear directly in the story but is referenced by Zhou Xianchun as a prize that Lin Che is unworthy of. Her relationship with Lin Che is a political marriage arranged in childhood. She is skilled in poetry, music, and other arts. Her existence adds to the conflict as other scholars feel she deserves a better match, but Lin Che shows little interest in her during the narrative.
