Mos's Human Self is the memory identity of the protagonist as a 23-year-old human male. He had a very normal life: no smoking, strict routines, and a dull office job. His life ended when a truck hit him in a subway station. His soul reincarnated into the female rat, and his human status screen remains visible, giving Mos hope of one day regaining human form.
