Mother Huang is the mother of Huang Fang and acts as the midwife. She is cunning and ruthless, deliberately causing Shu Yue's premature labor by scattering beans at her door and withholding food and medical assistance during childbirth to prolong her pain and ensure her daughter gives birth first. She intends to swap the babies and is the mastermind behind the scheme. When confronted, she tries to threaten Shu Yue with her background to silence her, but fails.
