Owen Hydra, originally Yan Xu, is the male protagonist of the story. He transmigrated from Earth into the body of a young noble, Viscount Hydra III, ruling a dilapidated border territory. The castle is crumbling, food tastes foul, and he has only eight soldiers and two servants. He struggles with extremely poor living conditions: patched clothes, cold weather, and constant hunger. His golden finger, a game system containing many classic games, is booting slowly (only 10% progress). Despite this, he manages to use Progress Points to summon troops from Age of Empires, such as swordsmen and archers, and plans to strengthen his territory. He faces imminent threats from the Ha Rui Trading Company, which hopes to annex his land. Owen is pragmatic, cautious, and resourceful. He uses his small force to intimidate the caravan and force concessions. He yearns for stability and prosperity, determined to overcome the harsh reality of his new life.
