Qin Shulan is An Min's maternal aunt, who lives in the northwest. She welcomes An Min but is torn between her husband's hostility and her sisterly love. She secretly brings food and water to An Min in a dilapidated cave dwelling. She arranges the blind date between An Min and Liang Yi through Director Yang. She is kind-hearted but weak-willed, guilty for not being able to fully support An Min. She helps An Min as much as she dares.
