Sifu, the original primary consort, was a gentle and dignified woman of noble birth (legitimate daughter of Feiyanggu, related to the Aisin Gioro clan). Her childhood name was Sifu, meaning “clear mind and gentle virtue.” She had been married to Yinzhen for over a decade, living in quiet isolation as Yinzhen favoured concubines. Her only comfort was her son Hong Hui. After Hong Hui fell gravely ill and died in the original timeline, she grieved until her own death. In the story, her soul lingers with a wish: for Hong Hui to live a long and worry‑free life, and for Yinzhen to lose everything he obtains. She dissolves peacefully after Shi Wan accepts her wish.
