A central figure in the Strange Dream. He claims to be a warrior from the army who refused to abandon survivors. He rescues the sewer crew from a research institute, arms them, and leads the hunt for a vaccine in the zombie-overrun Big Bear City. He is highly capable, physically strong, and shows remarkable regeneration from a zombie bite. He sets up safe houses and is determined to find the vaccine to prevent the virus from spreading further. He eventually directs the group to a lab where a Mutant zombie is encountered.
