Eight Degrees of Warmth

The Sage Has No Fixed Teacher. Confucius learned from Tanzi, Changhong, Shixiang, and Laozi. However, none of Tanzi's disciples surpassed Confucius. Confucius once said, "In a group of three, there must be a teacher among them." Thus, a disciple is not necessarily inferior to a teacher, and a teacher is not always wiser than their students. The path to knowledge depends on time and specialization; it's as simple as that.
