I'm already shipping the shura field between Feng Yaoyao and Shen Muyu. The way Feng Yaoyao just shows up, orders the same coffee, pays for Qin Bai's bill without him knowing, and then drops that entire backstory about his mother? She's playing three-dimensional chess while Shen Muyu is still trying to figure out the board. I love a smart, scheming female lead who knows exactly what she wants.
When Li Fu says “there is no justice in this world” and walks back into the Wangchuan, I felt her surrender. Not giving up, but accepting that the system won’t help her. That moment of calm decision is more powerful than screaming. She’s not crying anymore, she’s planning. And the way the soup guy just watches without interfering shows he understands.
I appreciate that Chu Qing doesn’t immediately become overpowered. He has to deal with limited lifespan and the risk of losing control. That makes his actions feel earned. Even his knowledge from the past life has limits, which is realistic for a rebirth story.
One thing that bugs me is the lack of explanation about why Cedric gets so many old injuries. The story mentions he fights ferocious beasts constantly, but if he’s the king of the jungle and an SSS-level something, shouldn’t he not get hurt that often? Or is it because his beast form is weaker during evolution? I hope they clarify this soon because it feels like a potential plot hole.
