That moment of calm decision is more powerful than screaming. She’s not crying anymore, she’s planning. And the way the soup guy just watches without interfering shows he understands.
I appreciate that Chu Qing doesn’t immediately become overpowered. He has to deal with limited lifespan and the risk of losing control. That makes his actions feel earned. Even his knowledge from the past life has limits, which is realistic for a rebirth story.
