Jinsi is a demon that appears as a white ball-shaped creature. It possesses the powerful ability to create illusions that can become real, trapping victims in their own fantasies. It is vulnerable to garlic and dog blood. In the story, it threatens a mother and daughter in a town by using its illusion powers. It is eventually captured by Yu Kongming and Liu Ke through the use of garlic and sealing techniques. Jinsi is cunning and tries to escape by invoking illusions even after being caught. It is brought back to the Blade Catcher Gate alive for reward money.
