An unnamed friend of Song Xiangqian from the city who is mentioned as offering a job for Song Hexiu. However, this is later revealed to be a trick by the old couple to lure Song Hexiu away so they can sacrifice Song Chuman without interference. The friend never appears in the story and his role is only implied as part of the conspiracy.
