The deceased father of Wang Xuan and elder brother. He was a hunter who made a living hunting for generations in Shishan Village. Three months before the story begins, he and his elder son went into the mountains and were killed by a demon. His death left the family impoverished and forced the original Wang Xuan into hunting. He is only mentioned in memories and conversations, but his legacy includes the hunting bow that Wang Xuan now uses. His corpse was never found, yet the tax is still levied on his person.
