Yanagi Azami is a 35-year-old man who was summoned to another world and became a key member of the Hero Party that defeated the Demon Lord. His class, Samurai, allows him to use sword skills and enhance his physical abilities and weapons with magic power. He possesses a ring with an Item Box ability created by the dark elf Lobelia. After returning to his original world, he discovers it has been overrun by a zombie apocalypse. He maintains his otherworldly powers and decides to survive, seeking out his junior colleague at a nearby City Hall. He is pragmatic, somewhat cynical, but cares for his companions. He uses a metal bat and later a crowbar as weapons, and is cautious about revealing his strength to avoid complications.
