Youqiong is a small boy who lives in the same village as Da Yi. He appears when Du Yu first wakes up, picking his nose and making sarcastic remarks, calling Du Yu stupid. He is a minor character but provides a touch of realism and youthful irreverence. He addresses Da Yi as "Brother Yi" and is apparently familiar with him. He does not play any further role in the story, but his interaction highlights the mundane life in the legend world.
