Zeng Xing is a student at Xizhao Middle School and the primary antagonist. He is a well-known bully who, along with his follower Xu Jia and others, physically assaults Xi Yang. He slaps Xi Yang repeatedly and orchestrates the beating that leads to Xi Yang's death. After the incident, when Xi Yang survives, Zeng Xing learns that his uncle paid Xi Yang to keep quiet, which angers him. He attempts to retrieve the money by confronting Xi Yang at night, but is defeated. He then enlists the help of his father and a thug named Fei Ge to seek revenge. He is portrayed as arrogant, reliant on his family's influence, and unrepentant. His father is Zeng Yanhong, a wealthy businessman. He is often described with a sinister expression and uses threats to maintain power over other students.
