Bai Wu is the Fourth Elder of the Nine Heavens and Hua Yue's master. He arrogantly dismisses Li Fu's accusations, claiming his disciple acts according to karma. He refuses to punish Hua Yue for her crimes. When Li Fu obtains the Human Emperor Sword Banner in Wangchuan, he attempts to stop her but is killed by her sword, becoming the first immortal to die at her hands. His death shocks the other elders.
