Bu Wang is the mysterious figure in charge of Meng Po soup in Wangchuan, though he is not Meng Po. He initially pulls Li Fu out of the Wangchuan and sends her to the Cloud Ladder. After she returns, he guides her to find the Human Emperor Sword Banner and helps her escape from the Nine Heavens pursuers. He has deep knowledge of resentment qi and vengeful ghosts. He aids Li Fu in her transformation into the Lord of Ghost Fiends, advising her on how to grow stronger.
